About Rømer Plant-based
Since 1972, organic products have been the passion of the Rømer family. Organic production and sustainability are built into our DNA and form the basis of several specialized organic companies.
From chocolate and delicacies to vegan specialties
From long experience with high quality organic food production came the idea of plant-based products and in 2019 the Rømer family started developing their own range of vegan products: uncompromising, high quality raw materials, delicious and packed with flavor. Always organic.
Own product development with focus on taste and ecology
Since the start, we have experimented with and “perfected” a range of plant-based products from our small, specialized production in a scenic part of rural Denmark. We use our yearlong experience with raw materials and spices to create a broad range of tasty vegan products. The raw materials are always carefully sourced and processed.
All products are made from scratch with fresh organic vegetables like mushroom, carrots, beets, onion, celery, Wakame seaweed and dried legumes. And a generously seasoned with well-balanced spices, of course.
Conscious sourcing
We have chosen to make all products without use of soybeans. In stead of importing soybeans, we use pea protein from Denmark as protein base in many of our products.
Besides choosing raw materials with a low carbon footprint, we use packaging made from recycled plastic that can be used for other purposes.
