Long-awaited return to Foodex Japan
“The fair was a big success”, is the clear conclusion from Malene Aaris, organizer of the VIP Organic area at the Denmark pavilion on this year’s Foodex Japan. The exhibitors at the Organic area were very excited about the great interest for organic food from Denmark. Many visitors stopped to taste samples and hear more about the companies and products despite differences in culture and language.
Also, JAS certified importers were drawn to the organic exhibitors from Denmark, a nation with strong traditions and high standards within organic production. Hopefully, the good dialogues at Foodex will result in collaborations so that food lovers in Japan soon will find more organic products from Denmark in the stores.
Organic companies from Denmark have exhibited at Foodex Japan since 2015, so after the Corona cancelations of Foodex, it was a relieve to return and meet friends and clients. Plans for Foodex 2024 are already in the pipeline, enabling even more organic brands from Denmark to exhibit their delicious products.
